CHSAA SEASON
High School Season Officially Begins
Ralston Valley Hockey High School CHSAA Teams
Ralston Valley Hockey High School CHSAA Teams will run from mid November through early March. They will play in the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). Games will primarily be on Friday and Saturday; however, there may be games during school time where players will need to depart early. Coaches are not allowed to interact with teams on Sundays as part of the CHSAA rules.
CHSAA Hockey games do not follow USA Hockey rules as they are governed under the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSH).
Players who played for the Mustang Hockey teams are not guaranteed a spot on the CHSAA teams. CHSAA requires a separate tryout before the season begins.
PRACTICES
Like the CPHL season, Ralston Valley High School Varsity will practice on ice 3 times per week and play the majority of the games on Fridays and Saturdays. There will be occasional changes to this schedule and players will be notified. There will also be mandatory off-ice workouts twice a week - days and times TBD.
Ralston Valley High School JV will practice on ice 2-3 times per week and normally play Fridays and Saturdays. There may be off-ice workouts with a trainer depending on the team and budget.
