What does Fall Season look like?
Mustang Hockey Fall Teams (Mustang Varsity, JV, Prospects)
Mustang Varsity season will run from mid-August through early November and will play in the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL) with approximately 10-13 regular season games, 2-3 tournaments, and an end of the season league playoffs bidding for Nationals. This season will end before the CHSAA season begins.
Mustang JV season will run from mid-August through early November and will play in the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL) with approximately 10-13 regular season games, 2-3 tournaments, This season will end before the CHSAA season begins.
Mustang Prospects season will run from mid-August through end of February and will play in the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL) and 4-5 tournaments. CPHL season ends in November; however, Mustang Prospects will continue to have friendlies with other teams until end of February.
CPHL follows high school USA Hockey guidelines for all teams.
Making the Mustang Varsity or JV or Prospect team does not guarantee a spot on the CHSAA teams.
PRACTICES
Mustang Varsity will practice on ice 3 times per week and play the majority of our games on Friday and Saturday, potentially weekday/Sunday games. In addition to video reviews, there will also be mandatory off-ice workouts 1-2 times a week, days and times TBD.
Mustang JV and Prospects will practice on ice 2-3 times per week and normally play Friday and Saturday, potentially weekday/Sunday games. Similar to Varsity, there will be video reviews and off-ice workouts 1-2 times a week, days and times TBD.
There will be occasional changes to this schedule and players will be notified.

Veteran's Cup (Fraser, MI) - included in club registration
Regional Silver Sticks OCTOBER (Ice Centre At The Promenade) - included in club registration
CPHL State Tournament NOVEMBER (varies) - included in club registration
POTENTIAL Silver Sticks International Finals JANUARY 16-19 (Sarnia Canada) - additional practice/tournament/coach expenses will be billed upon acceptance of the finals. Player team travel will be the responsibility of the player's family.
POTENTIAL High School National Tournament (TBD) - additional practice/tournament/coach expenses will be billed upon acceptance of nationals. Player team travel will be the responsibility of the player's family.
